A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is the foundation of effective integrative psychiatric care. During this in-depth assessment, we’ll explore various factors that influence your mental health, including your developmental history, life experiences, biological predispositions, social stressors, physical health, and lifestyle habits. This holistic approach allows me to create a personalized treatment plan that that goes beyond addressing symptoms. I view this as a collaborative process, working closely with each individual to ensure that their unique needs and preferences guide the path forward.

Psychotherapy is a core component of integrative psychiatric care, offering a safe and supportive space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, incorporating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and holistic modalities to address each individual’s unique needs. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, we work to gain deeper self-understanding, build resilience, and foster meaningful change, with a focus on your identified goals.
-
After a thoughtful evaluation I may recommend medication to help with symptom management for individuals who are open to this treatment modality. I’m also happy to assist with maintenance, safely tapering, or adjusting any current psychiatric medications you or your child may be taking. Together, we’ll work to find a medication regimen that feels comfortable and effective.

Many individuals can benefit from incorporating pharmaceutical grade nutraceuticals and herbal medicines into their daily routine, even when they already maintain a wholesome and nutritious diet. High quality supplements can help optimize brain and body function as well as its ability to heal, supporting improved overall well-being.
-
Emotions stored in the body can negatively affect our mood and mental state and may manifest as symptoms. I will often encourage the incorporation of mindfulness-based techniques like breathing exercises and meditation into treatment plans. These practices can benefit children, teens, and adults by helping to enhance body and mind awareness and improving our ability to regulate our physiologic stress response as well as our emotional reactions.
-
Our daily habits can have a substantial impact on our mental state and overall health. Habits shape the way we think and determine our behaviors around sleep, nutrition, exercise, work, and social relationships - all of which can impact our emotional state. We will work together to identify and understand habits that are not serving you well and create a plan of action to support new habits/routines that will help you to feel your best.
Why work with a private provider?
Practicing psychiatry outside of the traditional medical setting allows me the freedom to provide a higher level of care, attention, and truly personalized treatment—exactly the way I believe care should be delivered to achieve the best outcomes.
More Time and Attention: Longer appointment times mean we never have to rush through our sessions. With a smaller patient load, I’m able to be fully present, giving you the space to share openly and for us to thoughtfully plan your care together.
Personalized and Comprehensive Care: I have the flexibility to go beyond standard treatment options and integrate a variety of effective approaches tailored to what works best for you—not just medications.
Greater Accessibility: I’m often able to offer same-week appointments, and you’ll have direct access to me between visits through the health portal if questions or concerns arise.
Continuity of Care: Seeing the same provider routinely allows us to build a strong therapeutic relationship and ensures that your care is consistent, effective, and aligned with your goals.
Enhanced Privacy: Sessions take place from the comfort and privacy of your own home, and you decide if any clinical information is shared with insurance companies.
